After successfully launched the 360° panoramic VR WiFi camera, Unifore is about to release the 180 degree panoramic WIFi cube camera which adopts 1-megapixel or 2-megapixel CMOS image sensors with a 180 degree fisheye lens equipped to provide you an astonishing wide angle panoramic video surveillance experience. The new camera is expected to be released in next Q1, 2017.
In addition to offering the exact same functionalities like its predecessor D1200, this water drop shape cube camera can provide you two times wide field of view which is equal to the viewing angle that two traditional 2.8mm lens cameras can provide. Despite the 180 degree panoramic viewing angle, the camera also supports ePTZ function, users can use the App (CoT PRO+/Yoosee) to rotate the camera by swiping on video screen. Since it can also provide users the VR experience, it's also a plug & play VR camera.
No longer using the 2.8mm wide angle lens, now it has a 180 degree fisheye lens to provide ultra wide viewing angle. Moreover, the camera’s core image processor can support image distortion correction, hence to output flat image meets the video monitoring requirement. The new product will have two models, one model will leverage the 1.0-megapixel CMOS image sensor, and the other will utilize a 2.0-megapixel CMOS image sensor to capture 1920x1080 Full HD video.
Offering advanced ePTZ function, can easily rotate the viewing angle or digital zoom in to check image detail through the App operation. It’s the perfect replacement to the traditional pan/tilt network camera. Since there is no mechanical rotation which may cause noise, this camera can provide even higher standard voice monitoring and 2-way audio intercom. Furthermore, the unique automatic focus technology makes the each monitored region is well focused to obtain clear image.
Normal 2.8mm lens camera only provides approximate 75 degree FOV, now Unifore new camera can capture 180 degree panoramic video by utilizing the fisheye lens. It can provide more wider viewing angle than 2 conventional cameras.
New 180 degree 720p panoramic cube camera will use the SC1045 + GM8135S hardware design, while the 180 degree 1080P panoramic cube camera will utilize the SC2035 + GM8136S chipset solution. The cube camera can be easily installed by using the smartphone App, no network setting is required, users can use the [SmartLink] function to quickly setup the WiFi connection. It also supports wired Ethernet connection, and can support motion detection, once the camera picks up the movement, it will send push notification alerts, meanwhile send email alerts with snapshot as the attachment. The camera is compliant with ONVIF specification (version 2.4, Profile S) and RTSP video stream protocol, can be easily integrated with third-party NVR/software system.
In conclusion, the 180° fisheye lens cube camera is the best security camera for indoor video surveillance applications to places such as home, garage, warehouse, office, grocery stores.
