By the way, the camera has preset setting, once a sensor is breached, the camera can automatically rotate to sensor's preset position. Additionally, Diamond siren can also work as a wireless signal repeater, it can extend your wireless signals (433.92MHz, not WiFi).

- It is impossible to update the camera. I tried it with the COT and 2CU application and it does not work. The camera is stuck at 13.0.0.61 release. The message is written is "update failed".
- When I record a video with the app, the video stutters and does not work well when playing on the sd card.

Troubleshooting
1. Check if the App and the camera's firmware are the latest version. If not, please update.
2. You can try to reset the camera. Reset will not impact to video footage on the TF card.
3. Check WiFi signal strength and password. Making sure the WiFi SSID or password has not been changed. Some routers has black list function to block unknown device network connection, please add the device to the router's white list.
Some new WiFi routers can support 5GHz (5.1GHz - 5.8GHz) signal, however, Erobot cameras can't support 5GHz.
4. Check if your smartphone can surf online, also check if the CoT Pro App has been blocked by some Smartphone tools to access the Internet.

Lan/wifi connection
Expandable memory via micro card
View via smartphone
Night vision view-able
Movable via camera
Easy to setup via the software or app
Con
The wifi will not work with a router higher then 4ghz
The view via night vision is not completely clear
You will have to refresh the software off and on
It doesn't come with a LAN cable
All in all it is a nice starter camera for having inside your home. The camera can move up and down but not side to side. The picture is decent but the night vision is not super clear. My wifi connection could not be set up because my router is to high for this camera. I had to set it up via the LAN cable which I was a bit disappointed about. I can zoom in on something pretty easily but the picture does become distorted. The app was pretty easy to set up on my phone but I did have issues with the app and the camera becoming separated so I had to refresh a lot. As I stated before this is a great starter camera and I would definitely recommend if you need a camera to protect the inside of your home. I reviewed for free in exchange for my unbiased review.

You can add the camera to your home automation system by using the RTSP protocol. You can find the Erobot's RTSP URL information from this post:
http://my.cotapp.net/forum/thread/44/cot-pro-app-wifi-network-camera-rtsp-url/
By the way, you can use the CMSClient software to assign a fixed IP address to the camera.

i have everything connected to the same router. I can even search for the cameras in the NVR and find them. But i can not sustain a stable connection. Status keeps showing connecting, at times it connects and then disconnects and shows offline.
What could be my problem?
