Wireless home alarm system review - Rosslare HLX-24T

HLX-24 system comes with two different models: HLX-24T which supports IP+PSTN alarm transmission; HLX-24M which supports GSM+PSTN.

Simple appearance, versatile function

Rosslare HLX-24T is a self-contained wireless alarm panel, it looks like an alarm keypad, it adopts white color engineer plastic housing design, comes with a LCD display and numeric keypad for intuitive operation. This alarm panel supports 24 wireless zones. In terms of communication, it supports TCP/IP and PSTN connections, this alarm panel is compatible with all wireless security detectors and accessories from Rosslare.

Easy to setup, convenient to use

Rosslare alarm control panels have AuraSys Remote Programming software offers 250 pieces alarm event storage. Moreover, the alarm panel has one programmable output, it provides a great flexibility on integration of other security systems; 20 user code including 1 master code and 1 installer code. Once an alarm occurs, the LCD of alarm panel will display alarm information, also show the programming status, and event inquiry info.

The AuraSys Remote Programming software has been developed for configuring the AuraSys Security System. The software can communicate with the system directly, either via a serial programming interface (RS-232) locally or remotely through telephone lines. The completed configuration data can be downloaded to the control panel directly via a memory key.

This alarm panel supports communication through GSM or PSTN, user can achieve remote control, 2-way talk, alarm receiving etc functions, and it also supports TCP/IP communication, support HomeLogiX Smartphone App controlling and monitoring; alarm panel supports maximum 4 2-way keypad, 4 wireless repeaters, 4 wireless alarm systems and 8 remote controls.

In terms of zone setting, alarm panel support zone type selection, including nterior, Interior Follow, Perimeter, Delay, Fire, 24-hour Silent and Audible, Chime (non-alarm), duress etc. In programming unity software, user can set schedule time to Arm/Disarm the system, also allows user to define the zone name. Additionally, the alarm panel has special RF signal monitoring and Anti-RF interference detecting design.

Smartphone App perfectly works with alarm panel

This network alarm panel comes with free smartphone App that supports both Android and iOS. Using the smartphone App, you can easily Arm/Disarm the alarm system. Login App, it has totally six main functions. Actually, the remote server for data receiving and transmitting is located in Israel, in addition to report the alarm information, the HomeLogix App can sync system's status; if the alarm panel is disarmed, the App will show disarm status respectively. Furthermore, the HomeLogix can monitor detectors'power capacity, also monitor the connection between security sensors and alarm panel.

In real test, the alarm panel works with wireless security detectors, we preset 4 emergency contact numbers into alarm panel, arm the alarm system then trigger the security detector, the alarm panel instantly triggers alarm.
