12-Megapixel 4K IP Camera Module based on SSC359+IMX577

The latest design 4K IP camera solution based on the flagship processor SSC359G from SigmaStar and high performance starves image sensor IMX577 from Sony.  The new camera module not only delivers up to 4K UHD resolution video, but also offers powerful features including smart video analytics based on AI, H.265 video compression, high dynamic range. 

SigmaStar SSC359G adopts ARM Cortex-A53 dual-core architecture, speed reaches up to 1.2GHz, and it integrates with intelligence processing unit (IPU), offering up to 2Tops computing capability.  By integrating a 4GB DDR3 RAM, the processor supports max. 8192x8192 resolution. In terms of video encoding capability, it supports 25fps@4K/12-megapixel + 25fps@D1, or 30FPS@4K resolution. Moreover, it includes intelligent video engine (IVE) to offer diverse video analytics such as object recognition, perimeter monitoring, loitering detection….etc.

Sony IMX577 is a 12.3-megapixel CMOS image sensor from DOL-HDR portfolio. It adopts Sony’s Stacked CMOS image sensor technology to achieve high speed image capturing. It supports digital overlap high dynamic range (DOL-HDR) to deliver high quality image even under challenging illumination condition (such as strong light, high back light). The image sensor supports 60fps@4K or 240fps@1080p resolution.
