NXP ASC885x 1080P IP Camera Solution

NXP Semiconductors introduced a full range of single-chip video processor (ASC8848A,ACS8849A,ASC8850A,ASC8851A,ASC8852A ) for HD IP cameras. These processors integrate almost all the features of the IP camera required – from raw data inputting, image signal processing and H.264 encoding, to Gigabit Ethernet interface to transmit data with in secure encrypted network.

NXP IP camera processors support 1080p/60fps (ASC8852) to 1080p/30fps (ASC8851) or even 720p/45fps (ASC8848A) HD video processing and encoding, all video processors features high video quality, low power, low H.264 bitrate. All processors support Region of Interest (ROI) smart video encoding and scalable video coding (SVC). To ensure reliable outdoor operation, these products comply -40 to + 85 ℃ industrial temperature operating standard.

NXP HD video SoCs can be widely used in security IP cameras, vehicle video recorders, digital video recorders, video conference cameras, video door phones and intercoms and industrial cameras applications. The NXP IP Camera processors also support USB, SPI, PCIe, UARTs, and GPIO interfaces for control functions such as pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ). The I2S interface provides local audio recording and playback functionality. A video output is available to display the captured video for local viewing.
