It's designed to work with diversity IP network devices including VoIP telephone system, Wi-Fi AP, as well as IP surveillance cameras.It's a free maintenance PoE network switch supports IEEE802.3af, IEEE 802.3i 10BASET, IEEE 802.3u 100BASETX, IEEE802.3x Flow control, IEEE802.1af DTE Power via MDI industry-standard protocols.

POE4100P is 5-port 10/100Mbps PoE network switch offering smart switching control and provides power supply to your IP cameras through Ethernet cable. This scalable and cost effective PoE switch allows a managed network to efficiently expand to previously unattainable levels.

This PoE switch can work with PoE IP cameras, and traditional IP cameras through using intermediate device - PoE Splitter. POE4100P can automatically detect whether connected with PoE compatible device or not. It's un-managed operation and with indicators to show Link, Activity, Speed, PoE Active, PoE Fault.

PoE switch plays the important function in your IP surveillance system, it can eliminate the the need for AC/DC power suppliers or the installation of new outlets at the remote nodes. IEEE802.3af is the standard of PoE technology, this standard provides power up to 15.4W on the switch side, which translates to a maximum power consumption of 12.9W on the device/camera side – making it suitable for security cameras. IP PTZ camera has a higher power consumption that exceeds IEEE802.3af standard, hence it should use IEEE802.3at (or PoE plus) standard PoE switch.
