Compact IP HD Bullet Camera with IR Aptina CMOS Onvif

The Intelvision EW1312K4-D 1.3 megapixel camera is equipped with Aptina 1/3" progressive scan image sensor with a resolution of 1280x960 piexles. This means  that every part of the scene is much more closely monitored than in the case of an analog camera and the image provides much more detail. Additionally, each part of the image can be effectively enlarged, both during live monitoring (without impact on the recording of the the full image) and from the recorded material.

The camera has built-in IR illuminator consisting of Super Flux LEDs, which allows for night operation without additional lighting. Super Flux LEDs are characterized by a high intensity of the light beam. They have a square cross-section and 4 pins. This construction provides high resistance to shock and vibration, so they are often used in modern automotive lighting. This modern type of LEDs has low power consumption (20 mA per diode), high reliability and long range. The LEDs are arranged in such a way that the whole scene is well lit even at a wide angle of view.

The built-in micro SD card slot (optional) allows backup of the surveillance video in the case of loss of connection to the LAN or an NVR failure. In addition to recording on microSD card, the EW1312K4-D camera has the ability to backup surveillance data to network drives - NAS and FTP servers. The entire configuration of both the camera and NAS server is done via a web browser, and the video recording process does not require any additional software. This advantage is very useful for economical video surveillance systems, where the installation and maintenance costs are the key issue. The user may configure own NVR server eliminating the need for external 24/7 services.

Web access to a video stream from the camera performed via IE requires installation of ActiveX controls. Alternative browsers (Firefox, Opera, Chrome) do not need any plug-ins or patches - thanks to Flash technology the image is directly displayed by the respective browser.
