EN6383-POE is a smart video recorder can provide video management functionality to multiple megapixel resolution IP security cameras. The NVR accepts network video streams from up to 8-channels. The supported maximum image resolution reaches up to 12-megapixel (4K). This NVR has PoE technology built-in aiming to provide centralized power supply and cost-effective IP surveillance solution that is easier to setup and install than common NVRs.
Comparing the similar products from other competitors, this NVR has implanted with smart video analytics algorithm. The intelligent video analytics as a part of a broader trend of NVRs becoming smarter, more secure and more powerful. The smart NVR can achieve multiple advanced intelligent video analytics independently, it works with common non-smart HD network cameras, the included IVA is consists of cross line detection (perimeter detection), region detection, object counting, object detection.
As a cutting-edge network video recorder, this 8CH 4K NVR adopts Hisilicon Quad-core CPU with 3D GPU built-in, its internal codec engine supports H.265/HEVC, H.264/AVC, MJPEG triple video compression standard, therefore it is not only compatible with high-end H.264+ IP cameras, but also back-compatible with regular H.264 or MJPEG IP cameras.
Being compliant with ONVIF specification, and having multiple video stream protocols (e.g. RTSP, RTMP, FTP) allowing this robust NVR to work with different IP cameras from more than 1000 third-party manufacturers.
This is an excellent NVR has video previewing, video recording and playback with maximum 4K UHD resolution capability. We believe 4K will become predominant video resolution in the security market in the next couple of years, as the security market traditionally follows trends in consumer electronics, and nowadays, 4K is standard in televisions and many smartphones.
The 4K can provide numerous benefits to IP video surveillance applications, 4K video is the equivalent of eight megapixels or eight million pixels, utilizing 4K NVRs enable security professionals to deploy fewer cameras across a broader area while still retaining the pixel density and image quality.
To differentiate our NVRs from our competitors, this NVR can deliver state-of-the-art technologies with a focus on video quality and stability. This 4K NVR has incorporated with industry leading technologies such as triple video codec (H.265, H.264, MJPEG) engine.
As promising to reduce the bitrate to half, we believe that the H.265 format will be mainstream in the coming years, and soon adopted later this year or next year for consumer security. By leveraging H.265 technology, the EN6383-POE can offer significant bandwidth and video storage savings over regular H.264 format.
Professional security installers like Power-over-Ethernet technology as it can greatly simplify the cable layout for the installation of IP video security system. The NVR features a simple plug-and-play setup that uses power-over-ethernet (PoE) technology. All you have to do is connect the camera directly to the NVR by running a single Cat5 Ethernet cable. This all-in-one cable provides both power to the camera camera and video transmission up to 330ft/100m. Furthermore, this multi-functional NVR provides rich peripheral interfaces, including 4-channel alarm inputs and 1-channel alarm output, this design makes it become easier for integrated security solution. It also includes a RS485 port and embedded with different PTZ control protocols to work with your IP PTZ cameras or motorized lens network cameras.
Intelligent video analysis (IVA), also called smart video analytics help security operators stay focused by introducing a new level of automation to IP video surveillance monitoring. Smart algorithm, real-time processing identifies alert conditions, giving you the information it needs to react swiftly and take action.
The IVA/smart video analytics 2.0 engine can support line crossing detection, region detection, object counting and detection. For instance, the security operator can draw a virtual line as the perimeter protection – someone has passed into a restricted area, the IVA will set off an alarm. Most importantly, the IVA can be achieved merely on NVR, it doesn’t need your IP cameras to get involved. Therefore it works with regular megapixel IP cameras.
