NK5025V15-A is a vandal-proof dome camera with IR illuminators, the camera adopts weather-proof and vandal-resistant housing design, withstanding harsh environments, this camera can be suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation for diversity of IP surveillance applications. It uses a 1/1.8-inch 6.0 megapixel CMOS image sensor to capture crystal clear images both in daylight and in dark lighting conditions with 5-megapixel (2560x1920) resolution.
Based on high-performance processor, NK5025V15-A offers 5MP@30fps or 1080p@30fps video encoding and streaming. The camera supports the next generation video compression technology - H.265. Utilizing the H.265 technology, the use of bandwidth and storage can be reduced to half, and it is back-compatible with H.264. Furthermore, this security camera adopts bit-rate stream smoothing and self-adaptive bandwidth technologies, by using these advanced network technologies, the camera is able to achieve the best image quality and the most efficient video transmission, meanwhile avoiding packet loss and ensuring the stability and reliability of video stream transmission.
It offers temporal-based 3 dimensional digital noise reduction (3D-DNR), that's very effective at reducing image noise, and Mirror, Flip, Lens distortion correction, Digital image stabilizer (DIS), 90/270 degree Rotation (Corridor mode), De-fog etc. This is a smart IP camera that provides ROI encoding, smart video analytics, motion detection, privacy mask functions.
Equipped with 2.8-12mm manual/motorized zoom lens enable it to deliver ideal viewing angle in different installation situation. It has rich interface design, including Audio I/O, Alarm I/O, BNC output, RS485, microSDHC/USB, 12V DC (PoE IEEE802.3af is optional). This allows camera to integrate with other security/smart devices. All our security cameras are compliant with ONVIF Profile S standard, supporting TCP/IP, RTSP, FTP, SMTP (Email), P2P etc protocols.
The security camera can deliver HD video with horizontal 2,560 pixels x vertical 1,920 pixels, maintains 4:3 aspect ratio. A 5MP resolution is 2.5 times larger than regular 1080p/2MP. Offering you detailed image covers larger monitoring area.
By employing Sony Starvis CMOS image sensor, the camera owns high sensitivity to both natural and Infrared light. This enable cameras can capture color images in low-light conditions. Additionally, it has 30pcs Infrared illuminators, further enables camera to see under complete darkness environment, and its IR illumination range reaches up to 100ft. It's based on Hisilicon H.264+ SoC, delivers H.264+ video stream with optimized bit-rate to maximum image quality while reduce bandwidth and storage.
Equipped with 2.8-12mm vari-focal lens, its focal length can be adjusted to fit wide, narrow, far, near different viewing angle and distance. Utilizing the motorized zoom lens, the camera lens can be adjusted via a joystick or the on-screen controls.

Red Infrared LED vs Blue Infrared LED
Answer: Yes, the most majority security cameras use conventional Infrared LEDs that emitting 850nm wavelength infrared. However, the 850nm wavelength Infrared is close to visible wavelength, so when these infrared illuminators are working, you will see a dull red glow. This camera comes with blue Infrared illuminators that emitting 950nm wavelength infrared, which is totally invisible to human eyes, can totally eliminate the red glow.
