Hisilicon introduces entry-level 4K NVR SoC - Hi3536C

Hisilicon technology, a leading developer of micro-computer processors for Smartphone, Sport Cameras, Video Surveillance, recently released the Hi3536C System-On-Chip (SoC) targeting an entry-level 4K (8-megapixel) network video recorders with leading edge video features.

The Hi3536C is designed to cater the need for entry-level 4K NVR products, it’s the lite version of Hi3536, which has the most powerful 16-channel 1080p real-time video decoding capability. The new SoC is based on a high-performance ARM A7 dual-core processor with up to 1.3GHz fast speed running frequency, has built-in an efficient video codec engine to support both H.264/AVC and H.265/HEVC video compression standard. Hi3536C can accept multi-channel video streams with resolution 720p, 1080p, 5-megapixel, even 8-megapixel (4K UHD).

  • 16 channel D1@30fps H.265/H.264

The Hi3536C SoC has two gigabit Ethernet interfaces, can support multi-channel HD H.265 video decoding, impressive image quality achieving by 4K HDMI output, it supports Hisilicon smart P video stream technology, which can effectively reduce the network bandwidth and storage. Other peripheral interfaces design including two SATA 3.0 ports to support SATA hard disk drives, 3x USB 2.0 ports to support USB HDD and mouse, one VGA port can maximum support 5-megapixel resolution video output.
