Unifore offers mini size security camera adopts vandalproof dome enclosure design. These security cameras utilize the latest megapixel imaging technology can not only deliver 1080p or 5-megapixel resolution video, but also output lossless and zero latency raw video data with four selectable signal format. They are compatible with your existing or newly developed AHD, HDCVI, HD-TVI, or 960H DVR systems.

They are 2-inch or 3-inch size sleek modern security cameras, ideal for space constrained applications requiring a low profile surveillance camera. Though its size is so small, it features pan/tilt/zoom function. They supports 350 degree pan and 90 degree tilt rotation. Thanks for its patent high-provision step-motor system, the camera move smoothly supporting maximum 80 degree per second speed. In addition to remotely control camera’s viewing angle, it supports advanced PTZ function such as 256 preset positions, 4 pattern/cruise scan, which greatly helps to secure/monitor a large area by using one single camera.

High image quality and durability is ensured, the product employs Sony CMOS image sensor that offers industry-leading imaging performance. The Sony IMX323 CMOS image sensor not only captures vivid color video in normal lighting condition, it also has better vision performance under dim lighting condition than counterparts in market. Furthermore, the dome camera include Infrared illumininators to support night vision. Unlike conventional IR dome camera, Unifore engineers devote a huge time to develop a complete new camera structure to help avoiding IR reflection. These dome cameras overcome IR-bleed/IR halo problems to capture clear images under night vision mode.

Well, most wireless indoor cameras can support pan/tilt, however they can’t support optical zoom. Unifore “Dexterous” series dome cameras can be equipped with motorized zoom lens, which has the capability to provide 3x, 5x or even 10x optical zoom. By using optical zoom lens and auto-focus, the camera itself automatically output clear video, no manual adjustment is required. It helps to simplify installation and make installation become easy. Moreover, you’re able to remotely change camera’s viewing angle, zoom in to amplify image without compromising image quality, or have a close-up view help to track suspicious people.

What’s AHD/CVI/TVI/CVBS?

AHD/CVI/TVI/CVBS are current analog video technologies has the capability to deliver HD resolution video. Since they are backed by different manufacturers, they are not compatible with each other. In order to be compatible with DVR systems, today analog cameras can output HD video with these selectable signal format. In a nutshell, the camera now is able to work with DVRs from different manufacturers regardless what HD-over-coaxial technology has implemented.

For example, our Dexterous security cameras are 4-in-1, it supports AHD, CVI, TVI and CVBS.
  • AHD: analog high definition, compatible with your AHD DVRs from many manufacturers.
  • CVI: Dahua HDCVI, compatible with HDCVI DVRs.
  • TVI: Hikvision HD-TVI, compatible with HD-TVI DVRs.
  • CVBS: legacy video signal format, compatible with old 960H/WD1 DVRs.

How to control this dome camera?

The camera supports PTZ function, users are able to control it through two methods: Joystick: you can tweak camera’s setting via joystick on cable, also you can control (pan/tilt/zoom) by using it. UTC: up to coaxial, users can control camera via UTC protocol on DVR. It should be noted that this camera doesn’t have RS485 interface. By eliminating RS485 interface, there is no need to wire extra cable for control communication. The control communication is done through coaxial cable via UTC protocol. The coxial cable can not only transmit video data, but also the control signals. Today, most DVR/HVR recorders support UTC protocol, so you’re able to control these PTZ cameras remotely via UTC protocol.
