HDTVI (High Definition Transport Video Interface) a kind of technology which can achieve high definition video transmission over coaxial cable (75-3, 75-5). It is similar to HD-SDI technology which can deliver 720p/1080p HD video signal over coaxial cable, but transmission distance only reaches 100 meters. After Dahua released HDCVI technology, long range distance transmission for 720p/1080p HD video became possible. Most importantly, the price for analog HD camera is same like the traditional analog camera. HDTVI camera is suitable to the video surveillance projects which require to upgrade the existing traditional standard analog camera system to high definition system.
