SmartSens SC1135 1.3MP CMOS Image Sensor

SmartSens SC1135 is a 1/3-inch progressive scan CMOS image sensor that can be widely used in video surveillance cameras, it delivers 1.3-megapixel or 1280x960 resolution video at 30 frames per second. SmartSens is a Chinese company specializing in developing megapixel CMOS image sensors. Today, many Chinese camera manufacturers choose to use SmartSens CMOS image sensors as the substitutes to replace Sony, Ominivision etc CMOS sensors.

Currently, users can find Hi3518EV200 + SC1135 IP camera solution. Leveraging the Hi3518EV200 + SC1135, the camera is able to deliver 1280x960 resolution video at 18 frames per second or 1280x720 resolution video at 25 frames per second. Compared with Sony/Omnivision 1.3MP solution, it has lower cost advantage. According to the datasheet of SC1135, the SC1135 is the upgraded version of its predecessor - SC1035, it can provide excellent low illumination performance (color 0.01Lux; B/W 0.001Lux).
