EN6383 is a 2-bay standalone NVR has embedded with Linux OS and professional video management software, this network video recorder is powered by high performance Hisilicon CPU and can provide excellent video live view, recording, playback up to 8 channels of 4K ultra high definition video streams. This 4K NVR supports remote browser monitoring multiple recording modes and smart search playback. It meets the requirements that remote video monitoring anywhere anytime by local display monitoring, remote browser monitoring, and iOS and Android smartphone monitoring.

With configuration wizard, users can complete the system configuration only takes five simple steps. This Linux-embedded NVR has a triple decoding/encoding engine built-in, it can support the H.265, H.264/AVC, MJPEG video compression standard, by utilizing the H.264+, this 4K H.265 NVR can reduce the bandwidth and storage consumption to half, which in turn, greatly reduce the overall cost of your IP video surveillance system.

How many sensors and relays can be connected to this NVR?

This NVR has 4 alarm inputs and 1 alarm output, it can supports 4 sensors and 4 relays. However, if users connecting multiple hardwired sensors in parallel or series circuit connection, then the number of connected sensors is unlimited.

How can we receive email alerts?

The NVR supports SMTP protocol to send emails. This NVR relies on SMTP protocol to send you emails. By incorporating with smart video analytics, once an alarm is triggered, the NVR will respond with user-defined actions such as sending emails, recording video, or send an alarm signal out through its Alarm I/O.

How to connect my IP cameras to this NVR?

It’s quite simple to make your IP cameras to be connected with the NVR. Most importantly, making sure the your IP cameras and the NVR are in the same local network. This means your IP security cameras and the NVR should connect to the same router/switch. Running the setup wizard, the NVR will automatically discover the devices, once they are being discovered, users can add them to the channels of the NVR.

Can I use the Chrome, Edge, Operate web browsers?

The NVR can allow users to select ActiveX mode and Non-ActiveX mode. For non-Internet Explorer web browsers, the web interface can still work. If you want to view the cameras locally, we recommend install the NVR client software which comes on the CD supplied with the NVR.

The NVR didn’t show the image after added the cameras

As the NVR supports many different video stream types (video resolution). Before using the NVR, it’s mandatory to manually select the right video stream type to match your IP camera’s video. For instance, if the NVR intends to connect with 1080P IP cameras, the video stream type should be 1080P in the NVR.
