Thanks for purchasing our network video recorder (NVR), this article intends to guide you how to set motion detection on NVR. Before this tutorial, you need to know that network cameras should be fully compatible with NVR, so that the motion detection can work properly.
To use the motion detection for our network camera, you have to use the i12 protocol. This is an optional firmware to solve the motion detection interoperability.

Note: When add the network cameras to NVR, making sure you use the i12 protocol.
Login NVR, go to [Setting] > [Motion], you can set the motion detection here.
Check [Enable Motion Detection] to enable motion detection function.
Click [Area Setting], using mouse to select the detection region, then set the [Arm schedule]. After that, click [Linkage].
Check the options that you want to achieve, for example tick [Alarm On Monitor].
If you want to set motion detection recording, you need to navigate to [Scheduled Record].
